The Rights Practice is delighted to invite you to the online launch of our Handbook for the Uyghur Community in the UK on Thursday 23rd June at 1pm (BST).

This will be a chance to learn, at first hand, about the concerns of the Uyghur community in Britain. We will also introduce how the handbook could help Uyghurs adjust to living in the UK, protect themselves from state harassment and seek information about missing friends and relatives in China.

Speakers:

Maira Aisaeva

Director & Chair of UK Uyghur Community

Yerbakyt Otarbay

Camp survivor, witness at Uyghur Tribunal

Michael Polak

Barrister specialising in criminal, public and human rights law. Member of Church Court Chambers, director of Justice Abroad.
